a couple of parts. The plywood construction of the plinth means a
separate heat sink is required for the regulator, I saw a piece of
extruded heat sink on Fleabay, it had various protrusions but when all
these were cut off it left a simple profile I could work with. The
doughnut shape is for mounting the bearing, it fits on the underside of
the plinth and spreads the load, preventing the screw heads from biting
into the ply. These will get a coat of etch primer before fitting. The
drg they are sat on is one of a series of Acetate overlays I use during
construction. These help when marking out and when checking for correct
positioning of inserts etc. against the PCB and original Technics
Chassis. |
