The
binding posts on the left are the "Standard" Wilmslow Audio items that
I fitted. When I cut the thread to reduce it's length I
discovered they are cast white metal, I had presumed they would be
brass. The alloy is not the best of conductors so I fitted the ones on
the right which where a Flebay purchase. They are solid brass (I
checked) with a fairly thick Gold plating. The annoying thing is they
where only 2/3 of the price of the first set with free postage and they
arrived the day after I ordered them.
