needed to modify the exposure unit by removing the 6 min clock work
timer. It was very stiff to operate and had no indication that it was
running or that the UV lights were on. The six minute max period was
way to short, you have to bake solder mask film for 60 min
under UV, doing multiples of 6 min would have been a PITA. This is
case where simple is best, an illuminated rocker switch (DPST) was
dropped in to replace the timer. Straight swap, even the spade
terminals where the right size, just a case of enlarging the hole and
squaring it off.
I removed the timer numbers with some Acetone on a cotton bud.
